Come join us for a unique job this summer! Experience several areas working for the Saskatoon Zoo Society in different positions. You will be driving the new Kinsmen Express II Train, leading our pond-dipping programs and helping out with our interpretive areas and providing an extra hand at our summer camps from time to time. It’s the perfect opportunity to gather multiple skills and experiences. Position starts the week of May 26th for training and goes until Labour Day in September. This is a Part-time position averaging 24-30 hours per week. More may be added during busy times. Must be available to work any day of the week. We rotate staff to ensure everyone gets a weekend or two off during the summer!

About You:

· Strong and engaging voice – able to speak loudly, clearly and with enthusiasm.

· Friendly and personable – enjoy interacting with families and children.

· Good memory – must be able to memorize the script

. Good with kids

· Enjoy/able to be outside for entire shift.

Requirements:

o Provide an acceptable Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sectors Search (upon offer of employment-cost covered by the Saskatoon Zoo Society)

o Have a valid Driver’s license and provide an acceptable driver’s abstract.

o Fluent in English – able to speak in public, enunciate clearly and present with enthusiasm. French is an asset
